We use only 14 K (karat) yellow gold and white gold for all gold jewelry. 14K gold is an alloy being that pure gold is too soft and it would be very easily damaged during everyday use. 14K gold is mixed with different metals to increase its durability. Copper, silver, palladium and zinc are used to strengthen the gold. The weight of gold is typically formulated in "24ths" notating the amount of alloy used in the gold. 14K gold is therefore 14 parts gold to 10 parts other metals. 14K gold has the best balance of strength, durability and purity.

925 STERLING SILVER

Pure silver, like pure gold, is very soft and easily damaged during everyday use. Sterling silver is also an alloy just like 14k gold. The most common silver alloy is sterling silver, which uses 7.5% copper and 92.5% silver. Hence, this is known as 925 Sterling Silver.
